- De-pollution of the artificial Fibers and Yarns Chemical Plant – Chiscani, Braila- which, after bankruptcy, changed its activity field. This project lasted 16 months (2001-2002). Within this project 84 hectares were decontaminated and 7200 tons of hazardous wastes neutralized.
For this work SETCAR received Certificate of Merit from the Inspectorate for Environment Protection –Braila and Diploma of Excellency from Municipality.
 
- De-pollution of Segment chrome plating section from Automobile Dacia Pitesti. On the site of this section RENAULT Group decided to build a gear box factory for the entire group.
The activity lasted 3 months, a period in which 220 tons of chrome anhydride containing sludge were neutralized.
