 Established in 1994 as a joint- stock company with entirely Romanian private capital with object of activity that of chemical production, SETCAR S.A. Braila developed starting with 2000 the range of services aimed to solve the environment problems, thus carrying out a wide range of activities:
- Collection, transport and temporary toxic discarded chemicals;
- Drawing up technologies, design and some technical endowments to carry out the de-pollution activities required by customers;
- Evaluation of significant environmental impact matched with the company’s products and services;
 Disposal of hazardous wastes; cyanide galvanic baths, PCBs from electrical equipments, pesticides, mercury and mercury compounds, acid residues, industrial waste waters, waste solutions etc.;- Disposal of chemical reagents including the toxic ones;
- De-pollution of fuel storages, galvanic workshops and industrial locations;
- Decontamination of hydrocarbons and heavy metals contaminated soils;
- Decontamination of PCB containing transformers;
- Works of asbestos collection, packaging, transport and disposal;
- Authorized transport of hazardous substances and wastes;
- Analysis for various customers in order to determine the PCB content in oils, soil, water.
